Congratulations to Kathleen Burns from Cliffoney who was the very lucky winner of the record €16,400 jackpot in last Monday's draw. Understandably delighted with the win, Kathleen has been a regular supporter of Rovers lotto for many years.

In related news, Rovers on-line lotto partner, www.locallotto.ie have scooped a prestigious emerging business award in recognition of their success to date.

Locallotto.ie, which is based in Spiddal, was one of five finalists to compete for the inaugural Impact Media Elevate New Business Award. Worth in excess of €30,000, the award offers a combined package of professional marketing and advertising services, which offers enormous opportunity for the emerging company to develop its business.

The award, is the brainchild of a Galway advertising and design company, Impact Media, who will use their considerable expertise, to rollout an exciting marketing and advertising plan over the coming months.

Having developed the product over a two-year period, Locallotto.ie started signing up clubs in January of this year and to date has signed up over 80 clients to its unique software and marketing methodology.
(Clubs/Organisations like Sligo Rovers, Liam Mellows, Galway County Board and the West of Ireland Alzheimers Foundation are currently using the system).

According to Warren Healy, Director, “We believe that in a few years, the majority of Ireland’s 5,000 lotteries, will be using the Locallotto system to greatly compliment their existing lotteries.

“We are a young company with big plans and hope to expand our market into the North of Ireland, followed by a rollout into the rest of the UK, Europe and the rest of the World.

“Winning this Elevate Award, is a fantastic opportunity for Locallotto.ie to realise its potential and expand its business. All the team here have put a lot of work into getting our business off the ground and getting us to where we are now. I’m very excited about the potential of locallotto.ie to reach new markets and go from strength to strength”, concluded Healy.
