Michael McNamara
First up was captain, Michael McNamara, who like his defensive partners, played no small part in the drawn game.

"It (the recent 4-0 defeat in The Brandywell) is still fresh in our minds what happened up there last time. We know the task ahead of us but the motivation has to be there. We may never get this chance again. It is a huge task but we have to be confident and throw caution to the wind."

John O’Hara
Carlsberg Man of the Match, John O’Hara put in what he described as his best performance for Sligo Rovers on Sunday. Such has been his consistency in the last two season, many Bit O’Red regulars might dispute that, but nonetheless, the Foxford man is looking forward to the task ahead.

"Everyone will want to put their best foot forward and prove that we're better than how we did last time. It is a daunting task for any team to go there but I watched Drogheda go up and get a result, so let’s hope we can do the same. We are still in with a chance, the 3rd of December is still the target for us."

Active ImageO’Hara's performance last Sunday attracted much praise but the Mayo man believes the defence performed as one.

"I made some good saves and I am more than happy to do it for the team. In the second half they threw everything at us. Although, I make the saves the other lads make clearances and blocks and throw their bodies on the line and that is what we all have to do again Tuesday if we want to get through.”

Stephen Kenny
“e don’ feel that the tie is over. They (Sligo) will make it really difficult for us at The Brandywell. It is my responsibility to ensure we work hard Tuesday and get a result, because as I said the tie is a long way from being over.

Sean Connor
“Tuesday is going to be more mental strength and psychological than physical. We have showed the rest of the country what a good side we are because, Sunday we did not look out of place. We know the task ahead of us. Now we have to go do what Paris St Germain couldn’t do. So lets see if we can”
