“People lose perspective after a result like Tuesday’s. We’re still a very young side. We’ve played a lot of games, not as many as Derry, but with a small squad that takes its toll. “The boys have been magnificent all year and have done everyone at the club proud. We’re realistic though. We still have a job to do to stay in the top five and so we’ve got to get back on track on Friday night against UCD. It’ll be a tough one – UCD have beaten us twice already this season, but we’re due a result, we’re due a few goals, and I’m hoping that they come on Friday,” the manager concluded.
