Despite the turmoil surrounding the position of Sean Connor’s position as manager, Rovers still have it all to play for tonight (Tues 7 Nov) when league leaders Shelbourne come to the Showgrounds.
Rovers will be without Liam Burns, who is suspended, whilst, Chris Turner will definitely miss the game and the rest of the season with a chipped bone. Gavin Peers is likely to return from suspension, but it’s unclear at this stage whether John ‘O’Hara will be available following an injury to his hand in the Derry game. With four points from three games required to secure fifth spot in the league, the Bit O’Red will want to get over the goal famine and the off the field speculation that has dominated recent weeks by putting a dent in Shelbourne’s title aspirations. Kick-off tonight in the Showgrounds is 7.45pm. |
