 Gary Curran, Rovers supremely talented South Sligo midfielder, made his under 21 international debut yesterday (27 Feb) against Slovakia in Ireland’s opening game of the Madeira tournament.Curran came on as second half substitute in a game that ended one nil for the Boy’s in Green. Following a two-all draw against the hosts earlier today, Ireland will face Portugal on Friday in an attempt to retain the trophy. |
