 Having had a taste of life in the Scottish Premier League, Stephen Manson is enjoying his football in the new eircom Premier League. He speaks to Club Promotions Officer, Sinead Fraher.
Stephen is one of Sligo Rovers new recruits. This is Stephen’s first time in Ireland and he comes from just outside the Scottish city of Edinburgh. Even though he is only 21, he has already greatly built up his footballing CV by playing in the Scottish premier league for Hibernians and Raith Rovers. He describes himself as a creative and positive player who always wants to do better and Rovers fans will have seen plenty of evidence of this to date in his midfield displays for the Bit O’Red.  Stephen is really delighted to be part of the Sligo Rovers team and having heard of the eircom league whilst playing in Scotland, he is excited to be part of the newly established Premier League. Manson has already expanded the Sligo Rovers fan base to Scotland from where his Mum and Dad regularly access www.sligorovers.com to monitor their son’s and his team’s progression. |
