Active ImageSligo Rovers go into tomorrow's clash with Galway United looking to bounce back after being knocked out of the FAI Cup in heartbreaking circumstances this week.

Rovers are unbeaten against Galway this season and will be looking to continue their recent excellent record in Terryland Park. The Bit O‘ Red were victorious in their last outing in the venue with goals coming from Gary Curran and Jason Mc Cartney.

Following the defeat to Waterford last Tuesday Paul Cook spoke of the “massive danger” of Rovers falling into a slump and all their excellent work in the previous weeks being undone.  However he added it was a great chance for the team to bounce back from the blow of going out in such fashion .

In team news, new signings Matthew Gordan and James Meredith are available for selection and following impressive display for the U21 side Wednesday night both may feature. Gavin Peers however, is a doubt and his chances are only rated at 50/50 - he will undergo a late fitness test prior to the game.
