The web team wish to advise that the free Sligo Rovers text service has been restricted to three text messages per week. This is is due to the huge demand for the service not only in Sligo but throughout the league.
Unfortunately, it was understood by us that the numbers of text would average over a two week period to take account in variations on the days of games. This it seems is not the case, and regretfully, we were unable to send a post-match text this evening after the Cork City game.
We will be in contact with the service provider this week to ensure we can schedule the text service to maximise the benefits to fans. Apologies for any inconvenience caused tonight.
