 After weeks of speculation the Sligo Rovers Legends squad to face the
Liverpool Legends has been announced. Managed by League winning manager
Billy Sinclair the squad includes some of the greatest players to have
ever played for the Bit O’Red. The squad in full is:
Alan Patterson, Nicky Broujos, Gavin Dykes, Gerry Carr, Ian Lynch, Mark Hutchinson, Nigel O’Connell, Paul Fielding, Edna Scanlon, Will Hastie, Johnny Kenny, Damien Dunleavy, Mick Savage, Harry McLoughlin, Kevin McCool, Paul McGee, John Skeffington, Gus Gilligan, Tony Fagan, Chris Rutherford, Tony Stenson, Martin McDonnell and Glen Shannon. The clash of the legends takes place on Saturday June 14th in the Showgrounds with a 5 o’clock kick-off. There is an dinner later on the evening with all the legends in attendance in the Sligo Southern Hotel.
