 The disappointment of the cup exit at the hands of Shamrock Rovers a fortnight ago seems like a world away but Paul Cook's squad are determined not to let the break for Euro 2008 get in the way of league progress and three points will be the priority for manager, Paul Cook on Saturday night against UCD.

 "This is a big game for us. I've heard some people say our season is over after the cup defeat against Shamrock, well let me tell you, it's not.
Myself and Gerry and all the players are determined to finish as high as possible in the League. With the players that we have we are well capable of breaking into the top four. I want to see a big crowd in the Showgrounds on Saturday. Now is the time to get behind the club and show your colours."

Fans view
It's been three weeks since a league match and with three reversals in the last five league games, Rovers will be extremely anxious to secure three points on Saturday.
The game in Belfied Bowl has been acknowledged by the manager as perhaps the worst performance of the season, and given the quality of the squad available, the Bit O'Red should have enough to overcome the visitors. |
