“The break had an impact on our players - but once they go out onto the pitch last week they have to put in performances but not everybody did. A draw against UCD was a fair result overall and if you look at our start to this round of games, it’s more or less the same as the first round. So I am hoping that we can put a run of decent form together and get the kind of results we got earlier in the season to move back up the table.”

Fans view Rovers were a bit rusty last week against UCD and although forcing some decent saves from the UCD 'keeper, they failed to score in their third consecutive league game. It will be a long day at the office for the players, and although Cobh have proven hard to overcome in the past, there should be enough in the tank to rediscover the scoring touch and put three points on the board.

Chris Butler & Seamus Coleman return from suspension having missed the game against U.C.D. Romuald Boco also returns having served on international duty for his country Benin. Sligo Rovers will be without the services of Steve Feeney(Hamstring)who picked up an injury in last week's game and also Matthew Judge who has missed training all week with a flu and chest infection.
