Match preview: Rovers look to find the scoring touch PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 09 July 2008
Active ImageDespite Rovers failing to find the target against Derry City, supporters would have been buoyed by the performance which would have fully deserved three points last week. Paul Cook believes that if they can repeat that sort of form, then anything is possible against Galway tomorrow night.

Manager's View
Active Image"We know that despite all the goings on off the pitch Galway will not be an easy game for us. They showed against Cork that they are a match for any side.

Still if we can produce the type of display that we showed against Derry and take our chances then we will take three points.

Fans view

Active ImageWith two clean sheets in their last three outings, Rovers have proven again in recent weeks just how difficult they are to get past.

However, Galway have never lost the scoring touch and will be buoyed by the return of Alan Murphy to the fold.

This is going to be a tight one with league position meaningless but if Rovers find their scoring touch they should have enough to find the edge.

Team news
Sligo Rovers only injury worry ahead of their trip to Galway on Friday is Seamus Coleman who has only been rated as 50/50 with an ankle injury he picked up in the game against Derry City last weekend
