Sligo Rovers under-19s fell to a 3-1 defeat at the Brandywell today against Derry City in the Elite Northern Division.
Darren Kilcawley, Ryan O'Donoghue and Paul Doyle came into the team from last week's 2-0 win over St. Pat's.
Derry scored first on with a goal from Georgie Kelly on 32 minutes.
But just a minute later Rovers were back on level terms through Darren Kilcawley's first goal of the season.
With just seven minutes played in the second half Ronan Curtis restored the home side's lead. They got a third on 73 minutes to put the game out of Rovers reach when Kelly got his second of the afternoon.
The game ended 3-1 to the Candystripes as Derry move up to third with the Bit o'Red staying seventh. There is no game next weekend meaning next is a home game with Shelbourne in a fortnight's time.
Team: Chambers, O'Donoghue, Harrigan, Taheny, Doyle, McManus, Hannon, Kilcawley, Armstrong, Anderson, Flatley.
