Sligo Rovers under-17s got their first ever win by beating Longford Town.
The victory came by 3-1 over Longford Town at The Showgrounds on week four of the season.
Rovers got in front early in the game with striker Mark Byrne scoring a wonderful goal taking the ball over the head of a defender before shooting in across the keeper.
Longford got level through Dan Beya but not for long. On 36 minutes Liam Kerrigan found Byrne just outside the box and he got his second with a finish high to the net.
With just 10 minutes to go Rovers but the game out of sight with the third. Thierry Baba rose high at the back post to head back across goal and John Mahon finished at close range.
