SWAI competition for students

The Soccer Writers’ Association of Ireland’s (SWAI) are looking for entries for Brendan McKenna Memorial Award for 2013.
Now in its fifth year, the competition was created in memory of former Evening Press journalist and FAI media officer Brendan McKenna, and is open to third level students looking to break into football journalism.
The winner will receive a cash prize and a chance to shadow one of the country’s top football journalists on an international match-day, while gaining invaluable experience.
