Welcome to the new Sligo Rovers website

Welcome to the new www.sligorovers.com on the first day of the 2013 season.
As you navigate through the site you’ll notice a number of exciting features in this update.
The Sligo Rovers online store is open to purchase Bit o’ Red merchandise including the new range of official jerseys.
Already there are a number of products on sale and we’ll be adding more and more items as the season goes on so be sure to check back on the latest offers.
The Showgrounds Astro Turf facility can be booked online for the first time - complete every part of the booking and enjoy the Showgrounds Astro surface at a time to suit you.
Our regular Kids Camps over a host of locations are now available to book online and Ciaran Kelly will be keeping you updated all year with the latest camps.
Today we also begin a new collaboration with Match Day Digital where you can download the Sligo Rovers programme to your iPhone and iPad from anywhere in the world and read at your leisure.
Tomorrow you’ll find the Glentoran programme in our first release.
The season pass includes every home game in all competitions and when you purchase any programme, it is stored forever.
The new Profile section showcases the 2013 Sligo Rovers first squad and management. There are new and old faces and all the latest info on the stars of our club.
Our Twitter updates will now scroll automatically on the home page for the latest news from the club, and @sligorovers will always endeavour to answer your questions.
Instagram and Audioboo are some of our newer communication platforms, you’ll find links around the site, along with Facebook.
The gallery section will carry pictures from many of this season’s matches. That will launch after our first home match with Bray Wanderers.
There’s a lot more to find including a lot of detail on the history of the club, UEFA Champions League 2013/2014, how you can become a Rovers member or sponsor and more.
We’d like to thank our web designer Omni Science Design (osd.ie) for their help and assistance in the development of the site.
Based just a mile from The Showgrounds, they have helped deliver what we feel will be a terrific point of information, news and enjoyment for Sligo Rovers fans.
A massive and heartfelt thanks to Michael Melly for providing images for Sligo Rovers for this website and many years - he has captured almost all of the moments you see described and detailed around this site. His contribution to our club is hugely appreciated.
Thanks to all of the volunteer website team and enjoy our new and improved www.sligorovers.com
