Connolly joins Longford Town

Sligo Rovers winger Ryan Connolly will join Longford Town on loan until the end of the season.

Connolly makes the move to the First Division high flyers after a year with the Bit o’ Red, having made 23 appearances.

Colm McLaughlin has also left Rovers by mutual consent. He was previously part of underage teams in The Showgrounds and was a member of the senior squad.

The club wish both players well for the future and thank them for their valued contribution to Rovers.
