Tickets on sale for Kelly's tribute game

His penalty saving heroics in the FAI Ford Cup finals of 2010 and 2011 are forever etched in the minds of Sligo Rovers supporters and now Ciaran Kelly will have a tribute match against a star-studded team of sporting personalities in The Showgrounds next month.

The game will take place on Saturday November 16th in the Showgrounds and will see a Sligo Rovers Select take on a team of GAA All-Stars with part of the money raised by the game going to North West Hospice.

Already confirmed for the All-Stars is Philly McMahon who was a part of this year's All-Ireland winning Dublin side while Mayo players Andy Moran and Rob Hennelly will also be in action. Mark McHugh and Paul Durcan from Donegal’s 2012 All Ireland team will also be taking part as will former Sligo inter-county star Eamon O’Hara.

The Sligo Rovers Select side will be made up of current Rovers players and former stars such as Paul McTiernan, Richie Ryan, Mark Quigley and Jason McGuinness who have all played with Ciaran during his time in the Showgrounds.

More names will be added in the coming weeks and tickets are on SALE now in the Sligo Rovers FC club store in Tesco Arcade and in the North West Hospice.

The match ticket will also form a raffle ticket to win one of a number of top prizes, an exciting line-up of giveaways as part of the game.

Prices are €10 for adults and €5 for U-16’s. Kick-off is 5pm.

See www.sligorovers.com for further details in the coming weeks.
