Kavanagh makes move to Rovers

Sligo Rovers can confirm the capture of Daryl Kavangh for the rest of the season.

Kavanagh departed St Patrick's Athletic yesterday in order to join the Bit o' Red. He won the league title with the Saints last season and scored a key goal against Dundalk on the way to winning the crown.

The 27-year-old will not be eligible for tonight's clash with his former club but comes into contention for the fixture with Athlone next week.

Kavanagh joins Eamon Zayed and Iarfhlaith Davoren as new additions to the Rovers squad this week.
