Presentation to Simon Elliott

Sligo Rovers friend and supporter Simon Elliott returns to England to take charge of a division of the Volkswagen group this month.

Simon has been the driving force behind the exceptional performance of the VW group in Ireland and brilliant supporter of League of Ireland football.

Sligo Rovers' partnership with Volkswagen and the Connolly group has been a major reason for the on and off field success of the club in recent years.

Their enormous contribution can be seen in virtually every aspect of Sligo Rovers but perhaps best in the VW Bank End at the Railway End.

The club wishes to thank Simon, his wife Kay and family and wish him continued success in the future - he will always be a welcome visitor to The Showgrounds.
