Cup action for Under-19s at Showgrounds

Sligo Rovers under-19s play Letterkenny Rovers in the Enda McGuill Cup tomorrow.

The second round tie kicks off at 2pm in the Showgrounds.

Rovers progressed to this stage with a 3-1 win against Salthill Devon at the end of October. Three goals in the first half from Gary Anderson, Mark Hannon and Liam Flatley won the game.

A win would see Rovers through to the quarter-finals which is the stage they were eliminated last year by Shelbourne and also the previous year to Salthill Devon.

The cup will hopefully provide a welcome distraction from the league where the Bit o'Red have taken only one point from the last four games.

Opponents Letterkenny sit one place below Rovers in the league table with the same total of points.

The under-19 season will take a break for the Christmas period following this game with the next match in mid-January.

Entry to the game is free.
