Great value from our Season Tickets

Our look at 10 reasons to Back the Bit o'Red continues today looking at the offers available when buying your season ticket for 2015.

A Sligo Rovers season ticket offers tremendous value to our fans.

A season ticket guarantees you entry to all of the Bit o’Red’s home league games in 2015.

Buying at the early bird prices which run until December 24th allow you to save up to €30 compared to buying later. All season tickets can be bought at a lower price at the early bird rates. See a full list of savings below.

Paying €200 for an adult season ticket means the cost per game is less than €12 which gives you a saving of over €3 every game compared to paying every week. Over the course of the year the saving is more than €50.

There is also great offers available to our younger fans. All second and third level student ticket purchasers get 10% off voucher for the club shop to be used against a single transaction (Not to be used on season tickets).

We also give our youngest fans the opportunity to watch the Bit o’Red for just €40 with a Super Reds season ticket.

With the season ticket every Super Red also gets:

  • A signed birthday card from their favourite player
  • 3 x1 hour coaching session on the Astro pitch with Sligo Rovers coaches and players in attendance spaced out during the year.
  • 10% off voucher for the club shop to be used against a single transaction (Not to be used on season tickets).
  • Photo opportunity with Benny the Bull with photo given to child in a presentation card.

Families are also catered for with four different options for buying adult season tickets and Super Reds season tickets together giving further discounts. The list of pricing options available is below.

We also are again giving fans the chance to buy a Golden Season Ticket. Introduced successfully last year a Golden Season Ticket allows you to reserve your seat in the Treacy Avenue stand for all league games during the season. This allows you to sit in your favourite spot and beside friends and family for every game at a cost of €70. Your name will also appear on your chosen seat.

New Sligo Rovers manager Owen Heary believes that those who come to the games will see an entertaining team and wants to see as many people as possible in the Showgrounds getting behind his team.

He said: “I think that the team we are putting together for next season will good to watch. It is a young team that we will have with hunger and passion. The players I am bringing in are technically good and have energy. I want to have a team that will go forward and attack. There is no point sitting back and allowing other teams to come on to you, you must go and attack if you want to win games. I want the team to be confident to go out and play and put on performances.

“Having a big crowd at games creating a good atmosphere definitely helps the players. It will be important for the fans to get behind the players and encourage them. Players are going to make mistakes but there’s no point getting on their backs about it. The players need to be able to get the ball down and play without fear. If the fans are encouraging the players then they will sense that and respond by working harder.

“It is important for the fans to come into the games and get behind the club to help us be successful. What we need is for everyone to be pulling in one direction.

“In my time playing The Showgrounds was always a tough place to visit, maybe not as much in the last year or two. I want it to be a fortress where it is difficult for teams to come up and play.”

The cost of a season ticket at the Showgrounds, one of the finest football venues in the country, have remained frozen for several years.
