Cretaro helps mark Curry Green Flag

Raffaele Cretaro visited Scoil Mhuire gan Smal in Curry last week to celebrate and help to raise the School’s Green Flag for Sustainable and Active Travel.
 
The school had been working on the Green-Schools Travel theme with An Tasice Education Officer Imelda Ryan-Jones since September 2012.
 
They were awarded the honour last month. 
 
The community last Thursday to celebrate all their efforts of promoting more walking and cycling, as well as travelling by bus to school and the pupils preformed all their Green Travel Songs on the day.
 
Raffaele and Sligo Rovers were delighted be part of such a wonderful day for the pupils and Curry community and presented tickets for a home game to the students to mark their achievement.
