U19s prepare for vital fixture with Salthill

Sligo Rovers Under-19s face Salthill Devon at IT Sligo on Saturday afternoon knowing that a draw will be enough to avoid finishing in the relegation places in this year's U19 Elite Division.

The Bit o' Red gave their hopes of avoiding the bottom two a significant boost last weekend with a fantastic 5-3 win over Waterford United.

Trailing 3-1 at the break, Jordan Loftus netted twice in the second half to go along with his first half goal, while Gary Armstrong and Ross Taheny added to the scoresheet to complete a magnificent turn around for Ciaran Kelly's side.

Kick-off at IT Sligo is 2pm.
