Dundalk drawn in cup quarters

 

Sligo Rovers will play Dundalk in the quarter-finals of the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup.

The game will be played in Oriel Park on week-ending September13th, full details to be confirmed soon.

Rovers made it through by beating Cobh Wanderers 4-0 this weekend having beaten Crumlin Utd 2-0 in the round before.

Dundalk were winners over Galway United 4-1 away from home in the third round and beat Shelbourne 5-0 in Oriel Park previous to that.

The Lilywhites eliminated Rovers from last year’s competition with a 3-0 win in Dundalk last June.

The Bit o’Red are five-time winners of the cup having last won in 2013 while Dundalk have won it nine times but not since 2002.

Bray Wanderers v Killester United

Derry City v Cork City

Longford Town v Athlone Town/Sheriff YC
