Favourite Showgrounds Moments: Gavin Dykes
Our final Favourite Showgrounds Moment is brought to you by former Rovers captain and current coach Gavin Dykes.
Dykes has seen many great moments at the Showgrounds from his playing days including the 1994 treble-winning season as well as being on the coaching staff for much of the club's recent successes but he chose this as his favourite:
Tell us yours and why that particular moment was so special for you and you could be in with a chance of winning a free 2015 Sligo Rovers Season Ticket for you, a friend or family member.
We will pick the best moment and that person will win themselves a free season ticket giving them admission to all 17 SSE Airtricity League games at the Showgrounds in 2015.
There is several ways for you to enter this competition:
-Video: We would love to see your videos telling us about your favourite moment. These can be sent to us via any of our social meda channels or e-mailed to [email protected]
-Twitter: Explain your favourite moment in a tweet and use the hashtag #ShowgroundsMoments
-Facebook: Write a post on our Facebook page telling us all about your moment.

@sligorovers Seeing my son lead the team out as mascot vs Cobh Ramblers in 2005. I was so proud that night and knew he was hooked for life.
