Nzuzi signs for Sligo Rovers

 

Sligo Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of defender Patrick Nzuzi on a contract until the end of the 2015 season.

Nzuzi, 22, played his youth football with Newcastle United who he signed for at the age of 13 and played for the Magpies up to reserve team level.

He signed for Limerick before the start of the 2013 season becoming a regular in the team immediately. He played with them for two seasons and made a total of 54 appearances.

Born in Lubumbashi he represented DR Congo under-20s at the 2013 Toulon Tournament.

He played in Rovers friendly against Motherwell last week.
