International action for Puri

 

Sander Puri earned his second international cap in the space of four days for Estonia tonight.

He first came on as sub on Saturday in a 2-1 win over Lithuania in Tallinn.

Their UEFA European championship qualifiers continued against Slovenia but they lost 1-0 away from home with Puri being introduced as a half-time substitute.

It takes Puri to 58 international appearances so far in his career.

His recent good form earned him a call-up to the squad for the first time in over a year.

We all congratulate Sander on his success and look forward to welcoming him back for Friday’s FAI cup quarter-final against Dundalk.
