Rally fund reaches €72,000

Pledges to the Rally Around The Rovers Campaign have now reached €72,000.

The Dublin Supporters Club topped up their initial donation of €2,000 to €2,500 on Monday with the hope of continuing the momentum Rally has taken.
87% of the pledges made to the campaign have already been paid in full. The funds are playing vital role, financing day to day expenditure.

Sligo Rovers FC will use Rally Around Rovers as the club’s motto for the rest of the year, we are targeting the remaining home games to garner the biggest attendance of the season and ask the supporters to help create three special nights at The Showgrounds.

A number of promotional activities surrounding the games will take place, beginning next week ahead of the Bray Wanderers game, including a free draw for any supporter attending the game to win one of five excellent prizes.

More details will be confirmed in the coming days. The message will be to Rally Around Rovers for three matches that will have a huge say in our season and overall future.

The Rally Around Rovers badges are due to arrive late next week ahead of the Bray game.
