Knock-Kiltimagh Utd visit

Sligo Rovers were delighted to welcome young players from Knock-Kiltimagh United to The Showgrounds on Saturday.

They first played a friendly game against Sligo-Leitrim under-13 champions Merville United at The Showgrounds.

They then attended as The Bit o’Red got a 3-0 win over Longford Town.

Both teams were presented to the crowd at half-time with Merville parading their league trophy.

Knock-Kiltimagh gave great support in particular to their local hero Micheal Schlingermann as he kept a clean sheet in front of his young fans.
