Dave Robertson: “He (Richards) is brilliant. I was just talking in the dressing room about the master scoring one goal in Raff Cretaro and the young apprentice, the 18 year-old who is over from Notts County on loan. For me it is fantastic when you see that.

“When you see Raff’s enthusiasm for the game is infectious, that’s why he has had such a sterling career - that’s why he is still going and going strong at 35. For me I looked at Jordan and you see his partnership with Tobi developing on the right hand side. That’s really exciting for the future of the football club. There was two ends of the spectrum that really pleased me as well as scoring the goals and keeping the clean sheet.”

Jordan Richards: “It was our aim to get straight into the game and try to get a goal early. If we got that early goal we knew we could push on with that straight away and just keep going.

“It’s nice to see our work on the training pitch come to fruition in the goals. We know that we have to just keep passing and we know that we have got good enough players to then get the goals and they would come eventually. Today it worked out well.”
