The new 2016 SSE Airtricity League season was launched at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday with Rovers Kieran Sadlier there:

 

 

 

 

Rovers went to Athlone Town for a final pre-season game and came away with a 2-0 win:

Friday saw Bit o'Red fans take to Twitter to vote and decided on the new entrance music at The Showgrounds for this year:

 

 

 

Tim Clancy and Micheal Schlingermann were on Ocean FM Friday night previewing the new season:
