AGM date confirmed
The date for the 2016 Sligo Rovers AGM has been set with an EGM also to take place.
Both will be on Tuesday February 16 starting at 7:30pm taking place in the Clarion Hotel.
Invitations will be posted to all members eligible to attend along with nomination forms for the 2016 Management Committee.
A presentation on the accounts for the year 2015 will be made by the club treasurer Gary Loughlin.
Secretary Brendan Lacken will also deliver his report for the year.
The 2016 Management Committee will be elected. Nominations must be received by close of business on Wednesday 3 February.

The EGM is for the addition of the following to Rule 8 – Membership / Shareholding:
“A Member of Sligo Rovers 500 Club who has contributed to the 500 Club for three full years shall be registered as a Shareholder/Member of the above Co-operative.
“A Member of Sligo Rovers 500 Club who has contributed for one full year and has committed to contribute in full for a minimum of two further years shall be registered as a Shareholder/Member of the above Co-operative. If such member ceases to contribute to the 500 Club within this two year period for any reason their Shareholding/Membership will lapse.
“A Member assimilated from the 500 Club must complete a Shareholder/Membership application form in order to register their consent to becoming a Shareholder/Member of the above Co-operative.”
Sligo Rovers are also asking all members to make their voluntary annual contribution.
This is key to helping Dave Robertson continue to build his squad and with the lack of european football money in 2016 it is important for all members to give where possible.
