Annual Draw raises 55k - Thank You


The 2016 Sligo Rovers Annual Draw which took place last night raised over €55,000, well ahead of the €50,000 target.

Congratulations to Conor McCarthy of Rosses Point who scooped the first prize of €5,000. The full list of prize winners appears below.

Commenting on the success of the draw Chairman Martin Heraghty said: "The response is a wonderful reminder of how unique our club is. A big thank you to Mark Cummins and his team who organised the draw and to our supporters from near and far for their magnificent support".

Honorary Treasurer David Rowe said: "The success of the draw is a further important step in bringing financial stability to the club. After a difficult year last year which left debt carried forward and other gaps we have made huge strides this year, moving forward on the pitch is underpinned by a strong team off the pitch and financial stability."
