Underage cup draws made

 

The draws have been made for the cup competitions involving Rovers under-19 and under-17 teams.

The under-17 cup will be in its first season and has been the Mark Farren Memorial Cup named in honour of late Derry City striker who died earlier this year after a successful career in the SSE Airtricity League.

In it Rovers have been paired against Longford Town for the first round.

The Bit o’Red will be at home and the ties are due to be played Tuesday June 28 and Wednesday June 29, details to be clarified shortly.

The draw was also made for the second round of the SSE Airtricty u-19 Enda McGuill Cup.

It will be on week-ending July 3.

Rovers have been pitted against Derry City in a game away from home. Again full details to come.
