Ahead of Rovers trip to play Bohemians in Dalymount Park on Friday, takes a look back at three memorable wins at the home of the Gypsies.


21st May 2014 – SSE Airtricity League – Bohemians 0 Sligo Rovers 2 (McMillan, North 2)


Late goals from Evan McMillan and Danny North maintained Sligo Rovers’ unbeaten run as Bohemians sunk to a third defeat on the spin.

Former Bohemians central defender McMillan struck to give Rovers the lead after 78 minutes, nodding home at the back post after Bohs keeper Lee Murphy failed to claim Kieran Djilali’s corner.

Substitute North then sealed the points three minutes into added time, pouncing on a mistake by Roberto Lopes, who failed to clear Sean Maguire’s cross, to score with a side-foot volley.

Jason Byrne could have got a goal back for Bohemians at the death but his penalty, following a handball by John Russell, was easily saved by Gary Rogers.

07th September 2013 – SSE Airtricity League – Bohemians 0 Sligo Rovers 2 (Peers, Greene)


Sligo Rovers' push to main to retain their league crown was kept alive after a 2-0 win away at Bohemians in Dalymount.

Goals in either half from Gavin Peers and Aaron Greene were enough to secure all three points for the visitors on a cold and wet night in Phibsboro.

Peers opened the scoring on 16 minutes when he rose well to meet a Kieran Djilali corner and head home at the near post.

Following a Bohemians attack, David McMillan broke quickly up the left and fed Aaron Greene who slotted home clinically from just inside the box.

29th March 2013 – SSE Airtricity League – Bohemians 0 Sligo Rovers 3 (Cretaro, Greene, Elding)


Rovers maintained their 100 per cent start to the season was comfortably accounting for Bohemians by 3-0 at Dalymount Park.

Raff Cretaro seized on defensive hesitancy to slot home from six yards following an inviting delivery by Ross Gaynor.

Rovers added a second goal when Aaron Greene turned adroitly to hammer a precise finish beyond Dean Delany from twenty yards.

In the 71st minute Anthony Edling notched for the fifth consecutive league game, heading powerfully home after clever play from Cretaro.
