Rovers v Harps: Team News

 

Game four of the season for Sligo Rovers is the second in a week against Finn Harps on Saturday night.

The game will be the first SSE Airtricity League meeting of the North-west clubs since 2008.

The Bit o’Red won a first point of the season on Monday in the 1-1 draw with Galway United and will be looking to go one better against the newly promoted team tomorrow at 7:45pm.

Harps have lost their last two to Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers respectively after beating Derry City on the season’s opening night.

This is the 48th time that Rovers and Harps have met in the Premier Division with the Ballybofey club winning 24 of the games thus far.

There’s mixed news on the suspension front for Rovers. Craig Roddan and Kieran Sadlier are available for the first time since getting red cards against Shamrock Rovers two weeks ago.

But there’s a ban for striker Phil Roberts due to his sending off in the Galway United game.
