Harps v Rovers: This Friday

 

Sligo Rovers will attempt to extend the current run of strong form against Finn Harps on Friday night at 8:00.

The trip to Ballybofey is the final game before the league goes on a two-week mid-season break.

After winning in Galway on Sunday the Bit o’Red have now won six of the last seven games.

The run started with a 3-0 home win over Longford Town in late April followed by beating Derry City and Wexford Youths.

Wins since over Bohemians, Cabinteely and the Galway win now have Rovers on a three-game winning streak again.

Dave Robertson’s team are trying to make it four in a row for the first time since April 2014.

When the teams met previously this year it was the first game between the north-west neighbours in eight years.

Although floodlight failure meant the game could not be finished the score of 1-1 stood, Chris Lyons scoring his first Rovers goal in the game.

Michael Leahy and Craig Roddan will be welcomed back from suspension for the game.
