Harps v Rovers: This Friday

Sligo Rovers will attempt to extend the current run of strong form against Finn Harps on Friday night at 8:00.

The trip to Ballybofey is the final game before the league goes on a two-week mid-season break.

After winning in Galway on Sunday the Bit o’Red have now won six of the last seven games.

The run started with a 3-0 home win over Longford Town in late April followed by beating Derry City and Wexford Youths.

Wins since over Bohemians, Cabinteely and the Galway win now have Rovers on a three-game winning streak again.

Dave Robertson’s team are trying to make it four in a row for the first time since April 2014.

When the teams met previously this year it was the first game between the north-west neighbours in eight years.

Although floodlight failure meant the game could not be finished the score of 1-1 stood, Chris Lyons scoring his first Rovers goal in the game.

Michael Leahy and Craig Roddan will be welcomed back from suspension for the game.

Join us on the trip to see if Rovers can get the win and possible move further up the table.
