Rovers against racism

 

Sligo Rovers are delighted to be involved in a UEFA and FAI initiative which aims to stamp out racism in Football. 'Fare week' runs from October 6th-20th.

As part of the initiative, Sligo Rovers have arranged a friendly tonight on the Astro Turf at 7.45pm against the residents of globe house. Members of the first team will also wear anti-racism bibs during the warm-up and Ballkids will also wear anti-racism t-shirts for the night.

Residents from Globe House were guests of honour at the game vs Longford Town last night.

Sligo Rovers is against racism and supports inclusion of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds in football.
