Rovers & FAI Schools programme

 

Sligo Rovers are delighted to announce that in conjunction with the FAI and Sligo/Leitrim Schoolboys & Schoolgirls league the club will participate in the FAI Primary Schools programme.

The aim of the programme is to deliver fun football sessions and interactive classroom based sessions on nutrition, racism, Sligo Rovers Football Club & local football clubs in the area.

The programme is ran over a 7 week period and will be delivered by fully qualified FAI coaching staff and assisted by transition year students from Summerhill College Secondary school.

A launch took place at The Showgrouunds with John Russell along with Bit o’Red players Micheal Schlingermann and Raff Cretaro.
