Rovers v Dundalk: Tuesday

 

Sligo Rovers have the visit of league champions and league-leaders Dundalk to the Showgrounds on Tuesday night.

The re-scheduled game will take begin at 7:45pm.

The Bit o’Red were unable to complete the weekend’s game with Finn Harps in Sligo due to heavy rain leaving the pitch unplayable with the referee deciding to abandon the game 20 minutes in.

Dave Robertson’s team are still unbeaten in 12 home games since the opening week of the 2016 season.

Dundalk took the win earlier in the year when the team met at Oriel Park. It was a narrow 1-0 win with a penalty scored by Ronan Finn.

Rovers are looking to end a winless run of eight games against the Lilywhites since the 2014 Setanta cup final win. The last home win was September 2012.

The suspensions due to be served by Craig Roddan and Raff Cretaro in the game with Finn Harps will now apply on Tuesday night.

Tickets for the game will be available at the gate on the night at the following prices:

Students/OAPs €10
