Sligo Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of defender Orna O’ Dowd until at least the end of the 2023 SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season.
O’ Dowd was a regular starter in the Bit O’ Red team last season and re-signs for the club today as we approach the new season.
The experienced defender played previously with Ballina Town and Conn Rangers in the Mayo league.
Rovers Manager Steve Feeney is thrilled with the latest re-signing:

O’ Dowd and her Bit O’ Red team mates continue pre-season training this evening at The Showgrounds and play Athlone Town in their second pre-season friendly at Athlone Town stadium this Saturday at 2pm.
