Sligo Rovers Heritage Group have published a special 12 page Christmas supplement in The Sligo Champion, out now.

Included are features on soccer in Sligo during Christmas of 1894, an Irish Independent preview of 1939 FAI Cup Final, a piece on the recent award winning Rovers documentary, and an extract from Paul Little’s forthcoming book on Dixie Dean, focusing on his time in Sligo.
