Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club
The Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club is one of the club’s most important fundraising initiatives, providing supporters with a direct way to contribute to the continued development and success of Sligo Rovers.
Founded in 2003 and run by a dedicated team of volunteers, the 500 Club has raised over €2 million for Sligo Rovers.
For €20 a month or €240 a year, it is an ideal way to make a contribution to the club and play your part in making Sligo Rovers a success on and off the pitch.
Sligo Rovers is fully supporter owned and all proceeds are put back into the club. We are always grateful for your support.
Monthly Draw
Every Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club member is entered into a monthly draw, with a first prize of €500 and nine runner-up prizes of €100 each.
By joining the 500 Club, supporters can make a regular contribution to Sligo Rovers while also having the opportunity to win one of our monthly prizes.
Club Membership and Shareholding
The Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club also provides a pathway towards membership and shareholding in Sligo Rovers.
Once you have paid at least €160 and agreed to commit to paying a total of €800, you are eligible to apply for membership of Sligo Rovers.
Once the €160 threshold has been reached, you can apply for club membership by completing Form A2.
Once you have paid the full €800 commitment and have completed a membership form which has been approved by the club committee, you will automatically become a shareholder in Sligo Rovers.
Buying a Share Directly
Alternatively, supporters can become shareholders by purchasing a share directly from Sligo Rovers for €635.
A share can also be purchased on an agreed instalment basis with the club. Please contact us using the details below if you would like to discuss this option.

The Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club provides supporters with an opportunity to contribute directly to Sligo Rovers and play their part in the future of the Bit o’ Red.
Sligo Rovers is fully supporter owned, and the continued support of our members, shareholders and Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club participants is fundamental to the club.
Membership of the Friends of Sligo Rovers 500 Club costs €20 per month or €240 per year.
