The SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture between Sligo Rovers and Bohemians has been rescheduled.
Due to the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup semi-final replay between Cork City and Bohemians on Monday, October 8, the fixture has been moved.
The fixture will now take place on Monday, October 22 at the Showgrounds, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Schools across county Sligo are being encouraged to enrol in what will be the third year of the FAI Primary Schools Programme.
The initiative, which takes place in partnership with Sligo Rovers, is both a classroom and outdoor based programme which focuses on nutrition, fitness, inclusion of all, football skills and Rovers’ impact in the community. Continue reading “Sligo Rovers/FAI Primary Schools Programme launched”

Sligo Rovers recovered from a nightmare start to beat Livingston Colts and progress to the third round of the Scottish Challenge Cup.
The Bit O’Red had fallen behind to a wonderful Matthew Knox opener inside the first 90 seconds. But a Mikey Drennan hat-trick and a goal from David Cawley sealed the win for Rovers.
