Sligo Rovers held a Special General Meeting (SGM) at the Clayton Hotel this evening, where well in excess of 200 members voted on a proposal to restructure the club.

Members voted near-unanimously in favour of the proposed restructuring.

A second SGM will take place on 14 October, when members will be asked to confirm approval of the proposal.

The club thanks all members who attended and participated in this important process.
