Sligo Rovers can confirm that striker Cillian Heaney has left the club by mutual consent.

Heaney was a member of the club’s Academy throughout his youth career, after signing from Westport United in Mayo, starting with our Under 15 side and progressing through to the first team squad.

Heaney signed his first professional contract last summer and moves on today with the best wishes of everyone at Sligo Rovers.
