Club statement on fixture postponement

The #bitored firstly wish to confirm our match with Dundalk on Sunday has been postponed due to the Lilywhites progressing in Europe.

The postponement means 77 days will be the gap between our last home game with Waterford (30th June) and the next one St Patrick’s Athletic (15th September). Eleven weeks is simply a remarkable period to go without a home league fixture. Continue reading “Club statement on fixture postponement”

Dundalk game moved to Sunday

Sligo Rovers v Dundalk scheduled for Saturday, 21st July has been moved to Sunday, 22nd July at The Showgrounds with a kick-off time of 7.00 pm.

In the event of Dundalk progressing to the second qualifying round of the Europa League then the fixture will be postponed until a later date.

Dundalk are 1-0 up from the first leg of their first round match.

Showgrounds to home BreastCheck clinic

Sligo Rovers can confirm that the club has offered The Showgrounds for use for the BreastCheck mobile clinic after a location was unable to be secured in the centre of Sligo.

After learning of the issues of not being able to find a suitable home for the service, the Sligo Rovers committee agreed to offer the use of The Showgrounds and it will take up the location at the end of this month. Continue reading “Showgrounds to home BreastCheck clinic”
