Schools across county Sligo are being encouraged to enrol in what will be the third year of the FAI Primary Schools Programme.

Part 1: William Burns played for Sligo Rovers during the 1955-56 Season making 16 appearances for the Bit O’Red. On Saturday evening at our 90th Birthday Celebrations in The Showgrounds he will represent the 3rd Decade of the club’s history (1948-1958). The SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture between Sligo Rovers and Bohemians has been rescheduled.

Rhys McCabe’s ankle injury is not as bad as feared.
With swelling now reduced we can confirm he’ll miss training this week but it’s not long-term.
Regan Donelon & David Cawley are also injured this week.
A further injury update will be issued next week. Rovers face Bray Wanderers in The Showgrounds on Saturday week.
